For the first time, music professors at Yeungnam University will provide free music lessons to students who have been identified as being musically gifted. The lessons will specifically focus on underprivileged elementary and middle school students who live in Suseong-gu, Dong-gu and Gyeongsan. The lessons will cover composition, vocal music, piano, violin, cello, horn, gayageum and pipe. The lessons will take place at the building of the College of Music at Yeungnam University. Students who were selected at the audition in August will also be provided with private lessons once a week after school from September, 2010 to December, 2010.
