A few months have passed since the 2010 South Africa World Cup that electrified people all around the world finished. The event was successful, but South Africa has been going through an economic crisis brought on by a budget deficit after the World Cup’s completion. The main cause of this deficit was impractical spending stemming from their World Cup preparation. In order to finance the debt incurred by World Cup preparation, the government has not accepted the public official union's request which has recently been based on continuously rising prices. Eventually about one million people went on strike, and South Africa's economy has suffered heavy losses. Many economists expect South Africa will need a long time to overcome this crisis.
