Yeungnam University’s Health Credit Union Regulations were revised on July 22, 2010. The new regulations will come into effect as of March, 1, 2011. Undergraduate students who pay health credit fees are supported by the Health Credit Union. Before the revision, the Health Credit Union could compensate at most a million five hundred thousand won toward medical expenses to the students per semester. After the revision, students will have up to be afforded fifteen million won available to them until graduation. Students who suffer from disease or accidents when their medical fees exceed thirty million won can also be compensated after the board's evaluation. After the revision, the required standard of compensation has gone down from thirty million to fifteen million won. These revised regulations are providing much more benefit to students when they have medical problems.
