The IAAF (International Association of Athletics Federation) World Championships in Athletics will be held in Daegu in 2011 from the 27th of August to the 4th of September. The championship's ceremony was held at Yeungnam University on the 12th of March. Hae-Nyoung Cho, Co-President of the Organizing Committee for IAAF World Championship Daegu 2011, said that many advantages and benefits can come from hosting this event.
