Because of the 301st edition Cover Story I took time to think about who lives in these "Villages of Despair." When I was reading the Social Focus about Daegu International Airport, I remembered the depressing news about the local economy. However, I thought the most interesting story was about "Shim Chong." In my opinion Shim Chong is difficult to think of as a character who symbolizes filial piety. The Observer gave its readers a fascinating topic that can be discussed with other students. In the 302nd edition I hope there will be other stories that will stimulate my thinking.
