  The following article was provided for those who have interest in aviation by Tashkent State Aviation Institute, Uzbekistan, which has a sister relationship with Yeungnam University - ED.

   The Tashkent State Aviation Institute was established in 1995 by decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan. This institute consists of four faculties: aerospace, engineering, civil aviation engineering, air transport management and retraining. These faculties involve 16 chairs, where students study a total of nine bachelor education programs and more than ten master courses. Today Tashkent State Aviation Institute is a unique educational establishment in the region, with a long history of development of aerospace engineering. It has a strong connection with Tashkent aircraft factories as it supplies many workers in times of demand.
   The Scientific Council of the Institute has determined scientific activities in the following priority directions.

- The design and manufacture of new types of aircraft
- The study of problems of operation, repair and safety of aircraft and systems
- The study of technical and economic development of enterprises of an aircraft industry, airlines and airports
- The use and development of information technologies and methods of mathematical modeling during design, manufacture and operation
