A special lecture for the twenty-first century was held by the College of Commerce & Economics in Yeungnam University (YU). In this series of lectures, the world prominent figures such as Bill Gates (Chairman of Microsoft Corporation), Supachai Panitchpakdi (WTO Director-General), and Paul Krugman (Princeton University) spoke to a large audience as part of this lecture series. Song Young-seun, a Korean assembly member of the Grand National Party, spoke on the issue of 'wartime operational control' which is a current topic of controversy on 27 September.
