The Yeungnam University Museum provides some YU’s foreign students with an opportunity to experience Korean traditional culture. They are able to participate in the coming-of-age ceremony of the Choson Dynasty in May. The time when they can experience this is from 10:30 a.m to 12:00 p.m. The number of foreign participants is two male students and two female students while one male and one female Korean student can take part. These six students are recommended by Park Chung Hee School of Policy and Saemaul, and the Office of International Services. All other students at YU can watch the ceremony at the Yeungnam University Folk Village. This opportunity will celebrate Korean traditional culture.
