Yeungnam University’s professors from the Graduate School of Clinical Pharmacy promised to raise its college development fund to 500 million won by deducting the sum from their monthly paycheck. The amount of contribution depends on professor’s desire and can range from 100,000 to 300,000 won per month until they retire. Meanwhile, the YU Graduate School of Clinical Pharmacy reunion also promised to participate in raising funds. The reunion has donated about 100 million won until recently, and they will expand their donation drive. The university has a plan to use the development fund for scholarships and for a construction fund. YU’s president, Noh Seok-kyun, said that he was thankful to the professors who were leading university during a difficult time and would do his best for students to study in a good environment.
