Kim Su-han, who is a former chairman of the national assembly, had a law degree conferred to him by YU last April, 15th. The commencement ceremony was held in the law research library auditorium at 11:00 a.m and many of professors, his family and interested people were in attendance to celebrate the conferment of degree to him. Kim Su-han graduated from the department of law at YU in 1953, and was elected as a member of the national assembly for six times. He was kicked out from Daegu High School (now Kyeongbuk High School) because he tampered with the Japanese National Flag while he was a senior. Like this, he strongly showed national pride and dedication to his country from an early age.
