Professor Park Ju-Hyun (Electrical Engineering) selected as one of the world’s top 1% researcher.
Recently, Thomson Reuters announced 3,125 researchers whose paper citation counts are high. According to this, Professor Park attained the world level, as he was included in the world’s top 99 in mathematics.
Thomson Reuters is the world’s leading (service) enterprise of academic information. They announced the list of SCI (Science Citation Index), SCIE (Science Citation Index Expanded) and Impact Factor every year that judges the quality of theses. Also it investigates paper citation counts in all fields of study around the world and announces Highly Cited Researchers.
Recently, Professor Park announced 100 theses during these five years as the lead author, and total number of citations reached 6,012. Meanwhile, he is the very man who was named YU’s 41st on the ‘2015 Leiden Ranking’ in mathematics and computer engineering last June.
Professor Park currently works as an editor in renowned scientific journals, such as ‘IET Control Theory and Applications’, ‘Nonlinear Dynamics’ and leads project teams of ‘Next-generation Smart Mechatronics System Development for Next-generation’, which is part of ‘BK21Plus’ business, that Ministry of Education processes.
