To Crack My Shell

To Crack My ShellNothing is harder than to part with someone or something you love. For the last 3 years I've enjoyed participating in the Yeungnam Observer and I loved it. I am now finished with my 3 years and now just thinking about my future makes me worry. After I finished my time I hardly saw anyone else nor did I leave the house for days. Then one day, I left on a trip overseas. Although it was for a short period of time, I felt lonely and had strong yearnings for my comfort zone. After the trip, I quit sinking into depression. From now on, I would like to break the shell which has shielded me from the outside world. I am really thankful for school, professors, friends, and the Observer. And I want to cheer on my classmates who are struggling to prepare for another leap forward. Finally, I'd like to introduce a passage from Demian. We are the chicken and the world is our egg. If we don't crack the world's shell, we will die without ever truly being born.
