[University News]Auto Clubs Enter International Contests

A Yeungnam University automobile club took part in the "2006 SAE MINI-BAJA WEST" race held in Portland, Oregon, from May 10th through the 13th. A total of 83 university teams attended the contest. Registration for the contest was held on the 10th with a design report examination held on the 11th, a dynamic event on the 12th and the final endurance race on the 13th. Another automobile club, Chunma DM, also participated in the "Formula SAE 2006," held in Pontiac, Michigan from May 17th to the 21st with 140 other university teams. This contest caught a number of eyes because it was held in a stadium prepared by the GM head office.
