The Ist Golden Dictionary Contest Held

The "First Golden Dictionary Contest" for middle school students was held to celebrate "The 560th Hangeul Proclamation Day" in the grand lecture hall of the College of Education on the 30th of September. One hundred and twenty-five students from the Gyeongbuk area participated. This preliminary contest was sponsored by the National Institute of Korean Language and managed by the Korean Language Clinic of YU. This contest posed questions about spelling rules, vocabulary and common knowledge within the Korean language. Students who passed this contest obtained entrance to the final competition.
