Attractive Spots on Campus

 Yeungnam University has some beautiful places. Today, we’ll introduce several spots that many students find beautiful on campus at Yeungnam University.

 First, there is an unpaved road on campus called ‘Love Road.’ Love Road has a story related to its name; if certain couples pass through the road without looking back, their relationship will last forever. Love Road is especially gorgeous from the end of March to the beginning of April, which is the time that cherry blossoms are in full bloom. Love Road is located from the law school to the folk village. We recommend visiting this spot during cherry blossom season.

 Second, there are some rivers on campus. Among them is ‘Geoul Mot,’ which means the mirror pond. It has also a wonderful view. When someone sees the pond, the scenery is reflected on the Mot upside down like mirror. Plus, Geoul Mot was recently remodeled. Now it looks very beautiful and marvelous. There is an artificially filled mound of earth in the center of the pond with a tree, and twinkle lights turned at night have been installed in and around tree and the water. After the remodel, since there is an artificial fountain in the water, we can also see the beautiful scene during the daytime. The landscape at night is much better than before. Additionally, there are other places in university that have pretty landscapes. YU is a huge campus, and there are many phenomenal spots. In fact, you might unexpectedly find other interesting places on your own.
