I have given much thought to my time here while preparing for my last issue this semester. Looking back I experienced work that I could not have done in any other place. When I applied to the Observer, it was just because I was interested in English rather than an interest in journalism. However, I had found that I developed an attachment to my work and I wanted to do well working at the Observer. At first, I didn’t know how to write articles well but now I’m glad I pursued it.

On the other hand, it has left much to be desired, but I would not forget the question that I always keep in my mind when writing, “Can my article be helpful to anyone?,” is the way to enhance the value of the Observer.

In the crisis of journalism there are times that disappoint me, but it is the problem that we must consider. In this situation, if my article has a positive effect to some people I am satisfied that I have had some kind of impact on my fellow students. While I was reporting a case and meeting some people I discovered a new point of view that I hadn’t considered.

Through the Observer, I have had the chance to learn more about myself and I feel a true sense of responsibility for my work. Lastly, I appreciate the Observer and all those concerned for allowing me to gain valuable experience.
