YU made agreements with several famous universities and research institutes, including the University of Oxford. These agreements include research collaboration in the fields of New Regeneration Energy, Nanotechnology, New Materials Engineering, Medicine, Fine Chemistry and promised personal exchanges. As a result, YU will set up a YU-Oxford laboratory in the YU Center for Leaders in Industry-university Cooperation (YU Center for LINC). Also, Martin-Luther-University Halle-Wittenberg and Anhalt University are particularly expanding their practical teaching and research collaboration to establish a tie with university specialization project and the LINC project for YU. Park Jin-ho, the Leader of the Office of Funded Research, made these agreements and said that YU will construct a global education and research network. In addition, YU will lead academic exchanges between European universities and YU, as well as considering adoption of a joint degree.
