“Water Expo & Conference Korea 2012” will be held at the Daegu EXCO 1st floor exhibition hall from 2012 September 12th to the 14th. Daegu and Gyeongsangbuk-do, which has been selected to host the 7th World Water Forum in 2015, will host this event in conjunction with the Ministry of Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs. There are three main purposes of this event. One is to get a head start on initiating the 21st century Blue Gold industry. Another is preparing for the successful opening of the World Water Forum. They will also focus on providing a forum for debate about global water resources policy for solving the problem of water shortage. The exhibition space will be composed of booths with various themes about the water industry. The operating hours will be 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on the first two days and until 5 p.m. on the final day. The admission fee is 3,000 won, but admission is free for online pre-registrants and invitation holders.
