A forum entitled "Echo, Possibility of Another Life" was held at the College of Liberal Arts on April 6th of 2012 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Yeungnam University Media hosted this forum to highlight the value taking various approaches to life. This forum took place in a friendly atmosphere with students, poet Nam-Jun Park, and architect Kyung-Ho Kim. Nam-Jun Park left the city and moved Jirisan to change his approach to life and now leads a life that is close-to-nature. He gathers his food himself and interacts with the birds and the flowers. He talked about life and interacting with nature as well as living with no money. Kyung-Ho Kim is a representative of “Asamgong,” an architectural firm. He remodeled a home that had been empty for 30 years into his gallery and it is a place now where the old and the young can play and study. He said that meetings between people are important, and places where people meet are also important. In other words, beautiful places make life beautiful. Students were able to learn the value about various approaches to life through this open and honest discussion. Similar forums will be held next semester and the Observer hopes more students will participate.
