I think other people might want a cell-phone or a personal computer. Nowadays, they are indispensable things. However, on a deserted island, can you use them? There are no networks and you cannot find Wi-Fi there.
I posed this question to some of my friends. One said I want to go there with my lap-top because I love playing World Of Warcraft! Until I get to hun Death Wing, I can't stop it! What a poor guy! I wish he would come to his senses. Another guy said I'll buy a ship because if I want to go home, I'll take it! A ship? Not bad. And then? I think he needs something more for living there.
Well, I thought about this question for a day and I realized what three things I would take with me.
First, I would take a lighter to make fire. Fire is very useful. We can cook and get light from fire. Maybe I have to cook for myself on a deserted island. Absolutely, there would be no gas range. Also, for hunting or harvesting, I would need some tools. I think I would like to have a spear and knives. If I have them, I could harvest bananas or coconuts from trees and hunt fish in the river or sea!
Second, I would take a tent and blankets. Do I have to sleep on the sand or rocks? When I was in the military I used to sleep on the road and the street. It was a terrible experience! If I'm on a deserted island, I need to sleep in a comfortable bed.
At last, If I'm allowed I want to go there with my friends. Have you watched 'Cast Away'? It's a movie with Tom Hanks. In the movie, he drifted to a deserted island. Nobody was there. He was alone. Finally, he made a friend out of a volleyball and blood from his hand! He talked with 'IT' like talking with his friend! Well, I can understand his feeling, but I'd rather have a real person to talk to.
I've never thought about this, and I realized I want to live in my home town now because I like Daegu and having my friends around me. How do you think about this question?
