Thomas Underwood's lecture will open on September 15th and is being promoted by Yeungnam American Center. The subject of the lecture is about foreigners’ activities and achievements at the time of flowering in Korea. Thomas Underwood is a member of the Embassy of the United States in the America Public Section and a grandson of John T. Underwood who established Yonsei University. He suffered from distress and deportation from Korea because he announced the citizen massacre in Gwangju in 1980 to the world. We hope that many students participate in the lecture so they can learn from his affection for and interest in Korean culture.
