The most important thing

Climbing a mountain is similar to living life. When you climb a mountain if your only purpose is to reach the top, you may be tired all the time. However if you follow other climbers and appreciate the natural beauty, you may be more excited and reach the top more easily. You must also choose your path carefully. If you choose a path on a mountain that is difficult and steep, there will be more fulfillment when you reach the top. Since I became the editor-in-chief of The Yeungnam Observer I realized that if my only goal was to publish the magazine, I would become exhausted very easily. Instead of just going through the process of putting out the issues I also want to come together with my staff, colleagues, and advisors. I know that this process will not always be easy or exciting, but I know that accomplishing this will be the most important thing.

Thanks, thanks, thanks!

A few days ago, I watched a pianist who couldn't hear at all on television. She had to make at least a hundred times more effort than ordinary people to play a tune. She was always pleased to be able to play the piano, even though she is just able to feel vibrations. I was ashamed of myself. I was ashamed that I took everything given to me for granted, and that I didn't always give my best effort. We seem to think that everything given to us is our right. It may be difficult for us to live with a thankful heart every moment, however, you will do your best and won't spend your life idly if you always try to have a thankful heart. Let's be thankful. For example, we should be grateful to know that we can read these articles easily. Thank you for your support.
