Baek Woo seon, Sophomore,  The department of English language and literature

Thanks to the Yeungnam University Library, it is much easier and  more convenient to borrow books for students, professors and also local residents. The library has got a voluminous book and increases the quantity, but some of the visitors still think that having access to several books is, sometimes difficult.
The main causes of this problem are the borrowers who do not return the books lent. This is not a small problem, which you can skip through. As you can see on the Internet, there is a list, which describes every single person who has not returned the books, at least 30 days after the expiration day, with full details. Furthermore, the list points out that the students belong to almost all departments. Some people can think that the borrowers can make mistakes, for instance, they might forget the expiration day. However, the library has several steps, such as sending a message to the borrowers if the expiration day is over.
In most cases, the borrowers who do not return the books cause this problem, but it is not right to lay the blame on them. I mean, the system of the library has to be changed itself. According to the standing rules, there is only one penalty: the borrowers are prohibited from borrowing books for a while, based on the rules. Then some people maybe think about it like this; "Oh, I do not need to borrow any books next month, so I could delay to return them little bit.". See that? So I would like to give a suggestion that the reasons why returning the books are delayed should be collected and analyzed to prevent further delay problems.
