Congratulations You've been accepted!' When I got this cell phone message, I felt as if I'd won a championship. I finally did it after I falling THREE times to transfer into the Department of English Education. As soon as I let my family and some friends know about it by telephone, I blubbered with delight looking back over last two years when I had studied.
Right after I graduated from Yeungnam University, I worked for YBM sisa as an instructor and I realized that I was fit to be a teacher. However, I came to face many unavoidable problems with my company, as it put profits before education. While working, I decided to prepare for the transfer exam to be a schoolteacher. Since I majored in Mass Media and Communication, I needed to go back to university again to major in English education. However, I found the exam for the College of teaching highly competitive. Some friends told me I was too late to make a new start for I was a married woman. While I failed three times, I asked myself if I really wantedto do this. The answer was always 'yes'.
Recently there is a boom of getting into so-called stable jobs such as civil servants, pharmacists, teachers, etc due to the economic slowdown. Some people decide to transfer into some promising departments or universities to get those jobs. Others try to go backto schools to delay getting jobs, missing their campus life. Only a few of them, however, can finally attempt to transfer because of many different reasons. Some of them are afraid of undergoing changes even though they are not happy about what they are doing. Some people just give up halfway when they fail once in an exam. If you reallywant to change your major or career, whatever the reason is,it deep thought as towhether you can tide over the difficulties you might go through. If you are sure and ready to do it, give it a try. Why not?
