On 17 May, the First International Chinese Poetry Composition Contest, in which 300 scholars of Chinese Classics participated, was held at the YU folklore society, cosponsored by the Mae-il Newspaper. Chinese poetry composition progresses in regular sequences, having a representative drawing rhyme schemes, announcing selection standards, and participating in poetry composition. In the contest, 246 works were exhibited. Of all the works, Lee Jong-young from Busan won the first prize and Song Jun-young and Kim Jong-jin won the second prizes. 27 other participants also went home with prize.
