Yeungnam University has set forth on a project to construct a traditional Korean home for training in proper character education. On 15 May, YU commenced the project through a contract with Uiseong-gun. YU will begin to construct a traditional Korean house a at the end of the year and plans completion by the beginning of 2009. Through the building of the traditional Korean home, YU expects a very academic atmosphere to be created with individuals trained in superior character education.
