It seems like whenever a new year comes around many people have a habit of setting new goals. As flowers begin to put forth their blossoms in spring people begin to make progress toward their goals.
What do people have to do to make progress toward their goals? I think the best way to achieve personal goals is to take action. When actions start to pile up, we can finally come to attain our goals.
Some people would say that a process is more important than a result, while others would say that the result is more important than the process. However, I think neither the process nor the result can be prioritized, because processes and results, specifically actions and goals, are related and interact.
This year as editor-in-chief of the Yeungnam Observer (YNO), I feel I am responsible for both actions and results. Of course, if I insisted that I am not afraid of failure and have no worries, it would be a lie. I will try my best to execute my job by not being afraid to take necessary actions, and hopefully the desired results will follow.
