Chair-professor Lee Soon-tak (President, Korean Federation of Water Science Engineering Society) facilitated the "2006 Water Policy Forum" in the grand lecture hall of the Maeil Business Media Center on 25 September. The main topics for this forum were the cause & measure of floods, climate changes and counter measures, the nature and measurement of floods, and environmental impact due to flooding. Lee maintained that "Issues debated within this forum will be an important guide for making future water resource policy."
