How do you spend your weekends? If you are interested in fashion and looking for somewhere good to visit and spend your day, FXCO can be a perfect place.
FXCO is Daegu’s first fashion and culture complex opened on October 1. The name FXCO stands for “fashion x coexistence” and is located on the west side of the EXCO library in the Buk-gu distribution complex. FXCO can be a venue for the coexistence of textile fashion which was once a major industry in Daegu. Supporting the expansion of new fashion brands and coexisting with local youth is the central goal of FXCO. The Mayor of Daegu, Kwon Young-jin, asked for citizens’ attention to FXCO, thereby promoting its growth into a fashion and cultural platform. The success of FXCO will help make the dreams of local designers and young startups come true.
FXCO Mall commercialized 35 select art shops in the Metaverse Dream Studio. New fashion brands were competitively selected to help local youth realize their dream of starting their own brand. There is an exhibition on the first floor with restaurants and goods shops selling related products on the top floor.
The Observer visited FXCO, saw local artwork displayed at the first-floor shop, and found various products that incorporated lifestyles into artwork. At Metaverse Dream Studio on the second floor, there is a space that people can rent for making Youtube videos. At FXCO Dream Shop, there was a photo zone and goods shop. The Observer left a memo hoping more YU students would read The Yeungnam Observer.
How about vising FXCO, where you can easily peruse fashion startups of local youth this weekend?
