  The Daegu Art Museum held a special exhibition of Lee Kun-hee’s collection. The special exhibition was held free for two months, from June 29 to August 29, in exhibition rooms 4 and 5. It was so popular that 10,000 people visited in a month.  As the spread of COVID-19 continues, the museum is said to have done its best to ensure safe viewing.
  The museum’s exhibition viewing time consists of six sessions every hour from 10 a.m. except 12-1 p.m. The number of people is limited to 140 per session. Reservations must be made six days after the reservation date in advance. Attendees without reservations are not allowed to enter. Admission is denied for those who do not wear a mask and those with fever/respiratory symptoms. When a patient with symptoms occurs in a group, all members are restricted from viewing.
  The special exhibition of Lee Kun-hee’s Collection included 21 works by eight artists(Kim Jong-young, Byun Jong-ha, Seo Dong-jin, Seo Jin-dal, Yoo Young-guk, Lee In-sung, and Lee Kye-dae) being donated  the Daegu Art Museum. This donation by the bereaved family members the great consideration for Daegu as Lee Kun-hee’s hometown. The exhibition will open up the late chairman Lee Kun-hee’s love for human culture and a big gift given to Daegu. Choi Eun-joo, head of the museum said “We want to honor the spirit of cultural protection shown by the deceased and the noble meaning of sharing with the citizens. Also, we would like to convey the value of donation and the power of culture.”
