Due to the outbreak of COVID-19 and widespread infection, there has been a change in schedule and evaluation methods for 2021 rolling admission. To prevent the spread of the virus and for the safety of students, universities located in Daegu and North Gyeongsang Province decided to conduct the upcoming rolling admissions process non-face-to-face.
Yeungnam University has three significant changes. First, YU decided to conduct full non-face-to-face interviews by candidates submitting video recordings. Second, by extending the period of practical examinations for art and physical education departments, the number of test-takers was minimized to prevent infections. Lastly, unlike previous evaluations based on volunteer work hours, YU decided to give full marks to all applicants.
Kyungpook National University changed the time of the essay exam (AAT) for the Department of Natural Science due to the additional test site security for the prevention of COVID-19. The AAT for liberal arts and natural science departments will be held as originally scheduled.
Keimyung University prohibited offline submission of documents for rolling admissions. Also, there were practical exam schedule changes for some departments. The Painting Department practical examination method has been changed. For human-body drawing and watercolors, photographs will be provided instead of real models.
