They are the people who start and finish the day with us, but many times we simply don’t notice them. Let us take a closer look at their daily schedule and listen to their thoughts so we can all understand the role they play in our lives

In an age that requires talent and energy, university students face many difficulties preparing for a career with accumulating specifications, management of academics, and fulfilling other employment requirements. However, this difficult task is made far more difficult if good physical condition cannot be maintained. Students want to make a good impression on their professors. However, most students do not know what professors take into consideration when they judge them. At the end of every semester, university students evaluate classes that they take during the semester. These evaluations are important because students can express their opinions on how to improve the quality of the classes. However, due to some irresponsible students’ insincere attitudes, questions regarding the merits of the courses are not being taken seriously. For that reason, the course evaluations do not fulfill their intended role. The Observer looked into course evaluation at YU, identified things to be improved and looked for solutions.
If you live in a Yeungnam University dormitory you probably eat in the dormitory cafeteria. Next month, we will greet summer vacation. Vacation is a valuable time for university students that allows for experience and investment in the future. During vacation, we are able to do things we want to do. However, if you don’t properly make plans over those two months, the vacation can pass by quickly. You should not spend your time just relaxing during your vacation, or you could regret it afterwards. We should rethink several ways to have a meaningful summer vacation, and that starts with making plans.
May, which is known as the season of verdure, crept up on us suddenly. Is there any place to enjoy a taste of May on campus? There are trails that form seven courses on campus. In 2008, these trails were developed, and 86 signs which explained the trails were also installed. Moreover, simple exercise equipment has been installed along the trails. However, due to a lack of knowledge about the trails on campus, many YU students pass them by unconsciously. Many students are also unaware about trails they already walk on campus. Therefore, YNO will introduce these trails in this issues ‘On Campus 1’ section, and it is our hope that many students will make use of them.

They maintain the lecture rooms and check all the facilities. They work hard so we can study in comfort. These people do their jobs with little thanks from us, and we should keep them in mind as we go about our studies.
